I am a Dutchman residing in California where I make furniture and take pictures for a living.  I was trained as a carpenter in Holland where I learned the skill of monumental renovation. After this I lived and worked in Switzerland, Sweden, Portugal and Costa Rica. In each of these places I took my skills and learned new things along the way. Like food there is wood and this is how people make, create and think different all around the world. Its fascinating to learn how to work in different ways with new materials. My partner and I are living in Fairfax, California with our 2 daughters and our dog Luna. Californian is a place where I feel home away from home.
